My staff isn't tech-savvy. Will they figure this out?+

The kitchen tablet has two buttons: Start and Complete. The cashier marks cash with one tap. Most baristas are independent on day one. We train your team in person during setup.

What devices do I actually need to run CounterOS?+

One Android tablet or iPad for the kitchen — a Samsung Tab A or any iPad works, and most cafés already have one. The owner runs everything else from any phone. Customers use their own phones to order and pay. That's it.

Is everything in Arabic?+

Yes. The customer's ordering screen, the kitchen tablet, the admin dashboard, and your daily WhatsApp summary all run in Arabic out of the box. English on the same flip of a switch — useful if you serve a tourist crowd.

What happens when the internet drops?+

Orders queue locally on the tablet and sync when the connection comes back. Cash payments work offline. Card payments need a connection — but so does every other system on the market.

Will my older customers actually scan QR codes?+

Egyptians have been scanning QR menus since the pandemic — it's the default in most cafés now. For customers who prefer face-to-face, your staff can take the order on the same kitchen tablet. Nobody is forced onto a phone.

Can I keep my existing menu and customer data?+

Yes. We migrate everything during setup. If you're on a competitor, send us an export and we handle it. No re-typing menus item-by-item.

What about VAT and ETA e-invoicing?+

VAT-ready receipts today — sent by WhatsApp, email, or print — with end-of-day VAT reports one tap away. Full Egyptian Tax Authority e-invoice integration is on our Phase 3 roadmap and rolling out on demand.

Do you integrate with Talabat or Elmenus?+

Talabat and Elmenus sync is on our Phase 3 roadmap. Today, delivery orders enter CounterOS the same way walk-in orders do — through the kitchen tablet.
